We help communities and organizations process their anxieties and suffering together

We build bridges across different political perspectives to restore community after a divisive year

We help people relaunch their in-person relationships after months of social distancing

There’s no going back to pre-COVID; it’s time to build a new future for everyone

WHO ARE WE?

We are bold practitioners bringing together our diverse approaches to help the nation recover and rebuild.

There is no going back before the tumultuous events of 2020 – a global pandemic, widespread protests for racial justice, a divisive election, and environmental disasters. We need to rethink much of how we’ve lived and operated to this point, and we need to heal the wounds that have been opened, both new and old. Let’s get started!

Alternative scenarios of the future beyond COVID-19

These scenarios are a work in progress. We are continuing to develop them as events unfold. Let them prompt your own exploration of futures we may build in the years ahead.

USING Scenarios

Scenarios are alternative stories about the future that help us imagine – and plan for – what’s possible. Learn how to use them to move your organization or community forward beyond the pandemic.

BACK TO “NOrmal”

An expectable scenario where political voices slowly converge in support of public health measures, a vaccine becomes available in mid-2021, and the virus gets under control, …  but much of life remains online.

WIll 2020 EVER END?

A desperate scenario where the ongoing pandemic spurs sustained political division and economic depression. A mental health crisis unfolds as many Americans give up hope of returning to the lives they hoped to live.

A NEW ERA

An aspirational scenario where the pandemic experience prompts a national revival by refocusing citizens, consumers, and communities on the relationships, activities, and causes that matter most.
